Congratulations-

Your organization has been nominated as a potential recipient of the Lightspeed Aviation Foundation 2011 grant program.

In case you are not aware, Lightspeed Aviation (makers of the Zulu aviation headset) is very active in supporting aviation charities through in-kind gifting and cash donations. These efforts were further established through the 2010 launch of the Lightspeed Aviation Foundation. For 2011, the foundation board is selecting a class of nominees that will be presented to the aviation community for support. Though Lightspeed Aviation is the sole funding source for the foundation, it is the pilot community that determines, through online pilot voting, who will be the beneficiaries of the foundation. Last year, 20 aviation charities were chosen and the top recipients each received checks for $10,000.
