Pilots N Paws
Pilots N Paws provides a meeting place for pilots and plane owners to share the gift of flight to assist with the transportation of rescue, shelter or foster animals. A growing number of pilots who have strayed from the aviation community discover a rewarding way to combine their love for animals and aviation by flying for Pilots N Paws. Pilots, more than 5,000 in 50 states, have flown more than 75,000 animals to new homes since its inception in 2008.
Young student pilots log more hours with a mentoring flight instructor by flying Pilots N Paws missions. They have begun an educational program geared toward children ages 2-14 that will teach them about public benefit flying and animal rescue. Transporting animals that are injured, elderly, or simply need to be sent to a safe rescue speaks to the compassionate side of humans. It is truly a labor of love for every pilot involved with Pilots N Paws.
